Can we travel flight during first trimester pregnancy?
im around 9 weeks and have a family wedding out of state next month, so a flight is involved. thoda nervous about whether flying so early is ok. anyone travelled in their first trimester? how was it?
Currently in my 2nd trimester and I avoided flights in my first 3 months because of severe nausea and scare. Did any other moms fly during their first trimester without issues?
Actually flight travel in first trimester is mostly safe if you don't have complications, yaar. But always check with your gynac first for a fitness certificate. Drink lots of water to avoid dehydration.
I flew in my first trimester just to visit my mom and eat my favorite home food, haha! Just carry your nausea candies and light snacks on the plane, because airline food during morning sickness can be a nightmare.
I had to travel in my 8th week and I felt so terrified the whole time. My gynac gave me green light after checking everything, but honestly, the anxiety was real. If it's not urgent, maybe wait a bit.
Usually, first trimester flight travel is fine if the pregnancy is healthy. Make sure to get up and stretch your legs every hour on the flight. Do consult your doctor before booking tickets just to be 100% sure.
I totally understand how stressful the thought of flying can be when you have a tiny life inside. If your doctor says it is safe after doing a scan, then you can go ahead. Just stay comfortable and take care, sweetie.
