Omg I was terrified of flying in my 5th month and almost cancelled my trip! But my doctor reassured me that it's perfectly safe for uncomplicated pregnancies. Once I got on the flight, it was so smooth and I realized I worried for absolutely nothing.
Listen, traveling is fine in the 5th month but don't take any risks without asking your doctor first. Get the checkup done, carry your medical files, and keep emergency contact numbers handy. Safety of the baby comes first, always.
Yes, 5th month is generally the safest window for air travel. I had to travel for client meetings during my 20th week and it was completely fine. Just keep yourself hydrated, wear compression socks, and walk around the cabin every hour.
Yes, the second trimester is actually the best time to travel! ✈️ I flew during my 5th month for a short babymoon and had a great time. Just take a fit-to-fly certificate from your gynac before booking!
I felt so nervous during my first flight in the 5th month, constantly touching my bump and praying. But the airline staff was so sweet and gave me extra pillows. It actually turned out to be a very beautiful and comfortable journey for us.
