Having bad headaches these days and i usually just apply balm on forehead. But now im not sure if those strong smelling ones are ok during pregnancy. Anyone using balm safely?
Topical balm in small amounts for occasional headache or congestion is usually fine, it's external. But if you're using it a lot or have any doubt about the ingredients, just run it by your doctor at your next visit.
I'd be a little careful, occasional small use is okay but if you find yourself needing it daily for headaches, that's worth telling your doctor. Persistent headaches in pregnancy should be checked, not just masked with balm.
My mother always dabbed a little balm for my cold blocked nose and it was fine. Just keep it minimal and away from eyes. For anything recurring though, I'd trust the doctor over balm.
A little balm on the temples or neck for headache or a blocked nose is generally okay in small amounts. Just dont slather it everywhere or use very strong ones too often. If headaches are frequent, mention to your gynac instead of relying on balm.
Beta a tiny bit of balm for cold or sir dard is what we always used, lightly on forehead. Nothing wrong in small amount. But if it's a strong medicated one, better poochna doctor se to be safe.
