Dryness is making intimacy uncomfortable and I feel embarrassed bringing it up. I am wondering if using lube is okay while pregnant. Did anyone use one after checking with doctor?
Yeah we used one, water based, no issues. Avoid the scented or flavoured types. If your pregnancy is high risk or doc has asked you to avoid intimacy, then skip it.
Generally a water based lubricant is considered okay in a normal pregnancy. But everyone is different, so just run it by your gynac once, especially if you have any complications.
In my case doctor had asked us to avoid relations for a while due to spotting. So before anything, please confirm with your gynac if intimacy itself is okay for you right now.
