Im spotting a little but not sure if its actual period or something else, and im really hoping to be pregnant. Will the test even work properly if theres bleeding? Bit confused na.
Technically blood doesnt affect the urine test, but a full proper period usually means negative anyway. These kits work best a few days after a missed period using morning urine. If your bleeding is unusually light, then maybe test and ask doctor.
If you are actually bleeding like a period then you are most likely not pregnant, so testing during it doesnt make sense. The kit is meant for when your period is missed or late. Wait and test after the missed date.
You can take it but during an actual period the result is usually not useful, since periods mean no pregnancy that cycle generally. Better wait for a missed period. And any odd bleeding, do mention to your gynac ok.
I had this doubt too. Someone told me if its a normal flow period you probably arent pregnant. But spotting is different from periods na, so if confused just take the test after few days and confirm with doctor.
