We weren't really planning and it happened a couple days before my period was due. Now im wondering what the chances even are. My cycle is usually regular if that matters. Anyone been in this situation?
With my irregular cycles from PCOS, my ovulation timing was unpredictable, so for me the safe days werent really reliable. So I wouldnt assume just before period is safe for everyone. If ur cycles are irregular, better to talk to a gynac about it.
I always got confused about the fertile vs safe days too in the start. Took me a while and an app to understand it. Is ur cycle regular? That seems to change the answer a lot.
Just before period the chance is usually low because ovulation has already passed by then, in most cycles. But if ur cycle is irregular, the timing can shift, so it's not totally guaranteed safe. Tracking ovulation gives u a clearer picture.
