My cycles are a bit all over the place so im never fully sure about my fertile days. We were together right before my period was due and now im just wondering about the chances. Is it even possible to conceive that close to periods?
With PCOS my cycles were so unpredictable that I couldn't rely on these calculations at all. So I'd never say never. If your cycle is irregular, tracking ovulation is more useful than counting days.
It's very unlikely right before your period because ovulation has usually already passed. The fertile window is earlier in the cycle. But cycles vary, so it's never a perfect zero.
The chances are low at that point since the egg's already gone if you ovulated. But irregular cycles can throw off the timing. If you're trying or avoiding, knowing your ovulation day matters more than the period date.
