My HSG report mentioned hydrosalpinx and I am waiting for the follow up appointment. We have been trying for months, so this word scared me. Has anyone conceived after being told this?
I totally understand how worrying this question is, fertility stuff weighs on the heart. Many women do go on to conceive with treatment, so dont give up. A specialist will look at your reports and give you real answers, hugs to you.
This really depends on whether one or both tubes are affected, so only a specialist can tell you your chances. My doctor managed mine before we tried. Pls get a proper fertility consult, dont go by general answers for something like this.
I dont want to give false hope or fear since every case is so different. I know fertility struggles are stressful from my own journey. A reproductive specialist can actually assess your tubes and guide the best path, please see one.
I had tube issues and conceiving naturally was hard, my doctor said hydrosalpinx can lower chances and they often treat it first. We went the IVF route after they addressed the tube. Pls dont lose hope, talk to a good fertility specialist, options are there.
