I bought a packet of mixed seeds for healthy snacking and it has pumpkin seeds in it. Im 14 weeks. Just want to be sure these are safe before i start munching on them daily. Anyone include them in their diet?
Yes you can, seeds are nourishing. I just made sure to have them in small amounts and well roasted or soaked, easier to digest that way. Variety of seeds is nice but moderation always.
Perfectly fine and actually a good healthy snack in pregnancy. I used to mix pumpkin, sunflower and flax seeds and have a little daily. Just a handful is enough, no need to eat loads.
Yes pumpkin seeds are great, theyre full of iron, zinc and magnesium. I add a small spoon to my breakfast bowl. Keep the portion small though, seeds are calorie dense. My nutritionist was happy i included them.
My tracker app even listed pumpkin seeds as a recommended pregnancy snack for magnesium. I roast them lightly at home. Good for those evening cravings instead of junk.
