My mom made til ladoo at home and i really wanted one but my MIL stopped me saying til is not good in early pregnancy. Im only 7 weeks so getting a bit confused. anyone knows if its actually fine?
My family also said avoid heavy til in early days, so I just had it occasionally and not in big amount. Nothing happened, baby is fine. But trust your doctor over WhatsApp forwards okay.
I got so confused about this too, everyone says different things. I just kept it minimal in first trimester to be safe. Did anyone else also just avoid it early on?
Small amounts that come in your normal sabzi or chutney are totally fine. People only worry about eating loads of til daily in first trimester. I never bothered too much with it honestly.
Beta in our homes til (sesame) is usually avoided in the early months and given more later for warmth and strength. Thoda mat lo in the first trimester to be safe, and once your doctor says all good you can have it normally.
A few sesame seeds in food wont harm, the whole til ke laddu in big quantity is what elders warn about early on. Best to just ask your gynac about your case, mine said normal cooking amounts are fine.
