According to my last period I should be around 5 weeks, but home test is still negative. My period is late and I feel tired, so I am confused. Has anyone tested negative this late and later positive?
My doctor said it can be false negative if dates are off or hcg is low, especially if you ovulated later than you thought. A blood beta hcg is far more accurate at this stage. Dont fully rely on one home strip.
Yes and i drove myself mad over this exact thing. Wrong dates or testing at night can give negative even when you are pregnant. Use first morning urine, or just get the blood test and end the guessing.
Yes it can happen, sometimes due to diluted urine or testing not with first morning pee. If your period is missed and you still feel pregnant, retest in 2-3 days with morning urine, or get a blood test for a clear answer.
This happened to me! I tested and it was negative and i felt so confused coz i was sure. Few days later it was clearly positive. Hcg just wasnt strong enough in my urine yet. Try again or do a blood test.
