Can you get period in first month of pregnancy?

I tested positive last week but now i'm seeing some bleeding almost like a light period and it has confused me a lot. is this possible in the first month or should i be worried? planning to call my doctor tomorrow.

My gynac explained that you don't actually get a real period once pregnant, but some women get light spotting around the time the period was due, called implantation bleeding. It's usually lighter and shorter than normal. If it's heavy or with cramps, she said to come in immediately.

Haan it can happen, light spotting types, but it's not a proper period na. Mere saath bhi thoda bleeding hua tha early on and doc said it's okay since it was very light. Just keep an eye and call gynac if it increases.
