I think i conceived this cycle and noticed some light brown discharge today, got a little scared honestly. Is this something that happens to others too? i do plan to call my doctor.
Yes a little brown spotting can happen, its often implantation when the embryo settles in. Light and short is usually nothing. But if it gets heavy, red, or comes with cramps, call ur doctor without delay.
It can be normal early spotting, BUT please dont just assume. I ignored brown discharge once and later wished I had called sooner. Light occasional is usually okay, anything more than that, ring ur doctor and let her decide.
I get why ur worried, any spotting after a positive test is nerve wracking, I've been there. A small bit of brown is often harmless implantation, but with my history I always rang my doctor right away. Pls dont hesitate to call yours, thats what they're there for.
I had this and I felt so scared, thought something was wrong. Turned out it was implantation spotting and baby was perfectly fine. But I still called my gynac to be sure and I'd tell u to do the same just for peace of mind.
