Can you lose weight in first trimester of pregnancy?
Im 9 weeks and instead of gaining ive actually dropped a kg or two because i cant keep food down. now im worried is this bad for baby? did anyone else lose weight in the start?
Haan yaar, totally possible! Actually, I lost a bit of weight in my first trimester because of all the morning sickness and food aversions. My gynac said it's quite common for some women, especially if you're not able to eat much. Don't stress too much unless it's a lot or your doc is worried.
Arre haan, it can happen! Meri saas ne bhi bola tha ki pehle teen mahine mein kabhi kabhi weight kam ho jata hai because of nausea. As long as you're trying to eat what you can and staying hydrated, it's usually okay. Just keep your gynac informed, they know best for your health.
Oh, my heart goes out to you, I totally understand the worry that comes with unexpected weight changes during pregnancy. Yes, it's quite common to lose a little weight in the first trimester, especially with morning sickness making it hard to keep food down. Please be gentle with yourself and discuss any concerns with your doctor, you're doing great.
I felt so much anxiety about this during my first pregnancy, so I know how you must be feeling. Yes, I actually lost a couple of kilos in my first trimester because I couldn't keep anything down, especially with all the morning sickness. My doctor reassured me it was normal and the baby takes what it needs first. Just focus on small, frequent meals if you can.
Yes, absolutely! Many apps and trackers even show that a slight weight loss in the first trimester is within the normal range for some women. This is often due to nausea, vomiting, or just changes in diet. Just make sure you're getting enough nutrients and keep tracking it, but definitely consult your doctor if you're concerned about the amount of weight loss.
