Can you menstruate during pregnancy?

I got my positive test but then saw some light bleeding around the time my period was due and now im confused. Is it even possible to get periods after conceiving? Pls share if this happened to anyone.

Actually you dont get a real period during pregnancy, my doctor explained that once implantation happens the cycle stops. What people see is usually spotting or some other bleeding, not actual menstruation. She told me any bleeding should be checked.

No, true periods stop once you are pregnant. If you see bleeding pls dont assume its a period, get it checked with your gynac quickly to be safe.
