My doc has called me for a scan and by then i'll be roughly 5 weeks. Bit confused if anything even shows this early or i'll have to come back again. Anyone got scan done at 5 weeks?
At 5 weeks my doc could only see the sac, no heartbeat yet, and that was totally normal. She told me to come back around 6-7 weeks for the heartbeat. So dont worry if its just a tiny sac.
Yeah usually only the gestational sac shows at 5 weeks, maybe by transvaginal scan. Heartbeat comes a bit later. Dont read too much into an early scan, repeat one tells more.
In my pregnancy the early scans were nerve wracking, at 5 weeks it was just a small sac. Please be patient with urself, the next scan usually shows more. Sending u good wishes.
I felt so scared when my 5 week scan didnt show much. But the doctor stayed calm and said its still very early. The next scan showed the heartbeat and i finally relaxed.
