Can you still have a period with ectopic pregnancy?
Got my period this month but it was lighter than usual and im having this dull pain on one side. Im a bit scared after reading about ectopic stuff online. Did anyone here still bleed like a period when it turned out ectopic?
My gynac explained that ectopic can cause abnormal bleeding which people mistake for a period. The warning signs are sharp lower abdomen pain on one side, dizziness and shoulder tip pain. She said never ignore these, it needs urgent care.
Please be careful with this, what looks like a period in ectopic is often irregular bleeding, not a real period. I had spotting with sharp one sided pain and it turned out serious. If you have pain on one side with bleeding, go to the doctor right away, dont wait.
I have been through something painful in this area so I will gently say, please dont self diagnose. If anything feels off, especially pain with bleeding, get scanned quickly. Early checking is everything, take care of yourself.
