Can you store first morning urine for pregnancy test?
I want to test in the morning but i have to leave early for work and wont have time then. Was thinking to collect the morning urine and test bit later. Does that even work or it has to be fresh?
The kit instructions usually say fresh sample works best. Stored urine can give a faint or false reading if it sits too long. I just kept a kit in my bathroom and tested first thing in morning, way easier.
Storing it is not the smart way. Morning urine is strongest, so just test then and there. If result confuses you, repeat after 2-3 days or get a blood test done.
Best is to test fresh with first morning urine coz hcg is most concentrated then. If you really must store it, keep it covered in fridge and test within few hours, bring to room temp before testing. But fresh is always more reliable.
If you cant test right away, refrigerate it covered and use within a couple hours, let it warm up first. But honestly it takes 5 min, just test immediately in morning and save yourself the doubt.
