We have been trying for almost a year now and someone mentioned my husband could try this. I dont know if its safe or even helps while conceiving. Has anyone here been advised this by their doctor?
I understand the worry and wanting to help things along, but medicines like this should never be taken without a doctor checking. If there is a concern with conceiving, a fertility consult will give you the right and safe plan.
Honestly this is not something to decide on your own, please dont. We had fertility issues and the doctor guided everything. Whatever medicine your husband takes should be only on a doctors advice.
During our IVF journey every single thing my husband took was checked by the fertility specialist, nothing random. I would gently say pls dont self medicate while trying to conceive, just ask the doctor what is safe for both of you.
This really depends on the reason and only a doctor can say if its appropriate. Self prescribing such medicines is not a good idea. Best to book a consult and let them advise.
