My pelvic area pains so much these days, sometimes it feels like the bone is shifting when i walk. Im 30 weeks. It got me worried, can it actually break? anyone felt this?
Bone break nahi hota hai, yaar! Actually, it's just the relaxin hormone making your joints super loose and painful. Try using a pillow between your legs while sleeping, and check with your gynac if the pain is too much.
Don't worry, your bones are strong enough to carry the baby and won't break. To manage this pain, avoid taking big steps, sit down while putting on pants, and don't lift heavy buckets. It's a very common pregnancy pain.
I had this exact same terrifying thought when my pelvic area started hurting so badly! It literally feels like the bones are splitting apart. But it's just Pelvic Girdle Pain (PGP) which is very common, not an actual break. Definitely tell your doctor so they can reassure you.
I am in my 28th week and honestly, I feel like my pelvic bone is cracking every time I turn in bed! Is anyone else feeling this same sharp pain when walking? My doctor said it's just the joints widening, but it is so painful.
When I complained about this to my mother, she told me to sleep on my side with a soft pillow between my knees. It is just the body preparing for delivery, so your pelvic area is stretching. Do tell your doctor during your next visit.
Oh dear, please don't worry, your pelvic bone won't actually break! It just feels that way because of a hormone called relaxin which loosens your ligaments. Try to rest, and discuss this pain with your doctor gently.
It feels like a break, but trust me, your bones are perfectly fine! It is just symphysis pubis dysfunction or PGP, where the pelvic joint stretches to make room for the baby. Wearing a pelvic support belt really helped me back then.
