We are trying since 2 months and my office is on 2nd floor so I climb stairs daily. Mere saath nothing happened yet and I keep wondering if all this climbing is affecting chances. Is it ok or should I avoid?
Walking on stairs is totally fine in a normal journey, dear, but just take it slow. I know how stressful the trying to conceive phase is, especially after my IVF days. Don't push yourself too hard and just listen to your body.
Normal stairs are fine, honestly. Think of it as a good way to digest all those yummy cravings later! Just walk slowly and don't tire yourself out too much.
I felt so anxious about every little thing when we were trying. I used to climb stairs so slowly, almost holding my breath! Looking back, gentle stairs walking is fine, but the mental stress I felt was worse.
Better to be a bit careful and not climb too many flights of stairs daily. I had a really difficult journey with complications, so I always recommend consulting your gynac before doing any heavy physical activity while trying.
Actually, climbing stairs is great moderate exercise, but only if your body is used to it and your doctor is okay with it. I did light yoga and walking throughout, but always kept my doctor in the loop. Just don't overdo it or strain yourself.
