I'm a regular coffee drinker, but we're trying to conceive. I've heard that quitting coffee might help. For those who conceived, did giving up coffee make a difference for you?
Haha with twins I now need 10 cups of coffee to survive! But yes, back when we were trying, I did cut down to just one small cup a day. It did help with my sleep and energy levels, though I can't say it was the only magic trick.
I didn't stop completely, but limited coffee and focused more on my daily morning walks and light yoga after my doctor gave the green signal. Keeping the body active and hydrated worked wonders for my conception journey.
I used to spend so much on Starbucks, so quitting coffee actually saved me quite a bit of money which we used for early fertility tests and scans instead! Even if u don't quit fully, cutting down helps both health-wise and pocket-wise.
Honestly I am also trying right now and trying to cut down on my daily 3 cups of chai and coffee. It's so hard to quit completely na! Is anyone else also replacing it with green tea or coconut water?
With my PCOS, I had to be very careful with my diet and lifestyle. I didn't completely quit coffee, but I shifted to just one weak cup a day and focused more on managing insulin. It's a slow process, so don't pressure yourself too much.
