Do breasts go back to normal size after pregnancy?
Im in my last few weeks and my breasts have grown so much, none of my old clothes fit. Just curious what happens after delivery and once feeding is done, do they go back or stay changed? would love honest experiences from moms here.
They change quite a bit during feeding, get fuller, and then slowly settle once you stop nursing. For me they went close to before but not exactly the same, a little softer. It's all normal and gradual, give your body time.
Honestly mine changed and I felt a bit emotional about it at first. But you know what, our bodies did something amazing. They mostly settle down after a while, maybe not identical, and that's completely okay.
After both kids mine changed each time, fuller during feeding then settled smaller. A good supportive bra helped a lot. They wont be exactly like before but they do come back to a normal comfortable shape, dont worry.
Looking back now, mine went up and down a lot during feeding and then mostly settled once my little one weaned. Took several months to feel like myself again. So yes, they do settle, just not overnight.
They do mostly settle yaar, just give it time after feeding ends. Bodies change and thats fine, dont stress about going back to exact same. A nice bra works wonders honestly.
Every body is a little different here, so don't compare too much. Most settle close to before once breastfeeding is done, over a few months. Be gentle and patient with yourself, it takes time.
