My MIL keeps saying feet will swell up later but mine are still fine at 24 weeks. Just wondering does it happen to everyone or only some? Kab se does it usually start?
Swelling is common, but keep an eye on your salt intake and drink plenty of water. Since I had GD, I had to be very careful with my diet and keeping my feet elevated really helped.
During my check-up at Fortis, the nurse explained that fluid retention causes this. They advised me to wear comfortable footwear and walk regularly. Do check with your hospital staff if the swelling is too much.
While mild swelling is normal, sudden or severe swelling in your feet or face can be a sign of high blood pressure. Please monitor your BP and consult your doctor immediately if it looks excessive.
Haan beta, pairon me soojan aana bohot aam baat hai. Soak your feet in warm water with a little rock salt, it helps reduce the swelling. Avoid standing for too long.
I totally understand how uncomfortable it feels when your feet swell up! Just try to rest, keep your feet up on a pillow, and ask your husband for a gentle massage. Take care of yourself, dear.
With twins, my feet looked like small potatoes by the end! Elevating them on pillows while sleeping was my only savior. Just ensure your blood pressure is normal.
