Trying to understand this properly. Does pregnancy happen exactly on the ovulation day itself or can it be a few days around it too? We are ttc and i wanna get the timing right.
Conception can happen on or around ovulation day, since the egg lives about 24 hours and sperm can survive a few days. My doc said the fertile window is the few days before plus the day itself. So its not only that one day.
We assumed it was only that single day too. So having a few days before counts as well, good to know. This made tracking less stressful for us actually.
My app showed a whole fertile window, not just ovulation day. That helped because timing one exact day is hard. Cover the few days around it and your chances go up.
