I was on a course of antibiotics for a throat infection and we are planning to start trying this cycle. Now im not sure if I should wait till the course is fully over. Will ask my doctor too but wanted to hear from you all.
I would strongly say talk to your doctor before stopping anything. Some medicines need a plan when you are trying to conceive and you shouldnt guess. Mine adjusted my meds carefully, so let yours do the same.
This really depends on which antibiotic and why you are taking it, so please dont stop on your own. Some are fine, some need changing before trying. Ask the doctor who prescribed it, that is the only safe answer.
From what I have seen, it varies a lot by the antibiotic. Some are okay around conception, others they switch you off. Just call your prescribing doctor and ask, dont stop midway on your own as that can cause its own problems.
