I have a small mole near my neck and lately it looks slightly darker and bigger to me, im in 2nd trimester. Maybe im just overthinking but it caught my eye while putting cream. Did this happen to anyone else during pregnancy?
Haan kabhi kabhi hota hai. With all the hormone changes some moles can look a bit darker or bigger in pregnancy. Mine on my neck became darker, went lighter again after delivery.
My doc said pregnancy hormones increase pigment so moles and even old marks can appear darker or slightly bigger. She told me most settle down later, but any sudden change she wanted to see herself.
A little darkening is common but please dont ignore if a mole changes shape, bleeds or the edges look odd. That one you should show to your doctor to be safe, better checked than worried.
Mine got slightly bigger near my tummy area during pregnancy and I kept staring at it. After my baby came it faded back almost fully. Body just does its thing for those months.
