I keep getting this pulling kind of pain on the sides of my lower belly, like near the ovary area. Im about 9 weeks. Is this normal in early pregnancy or should i get it checked?
I'd be careful labelling it as ovary pain on our own. Mild aches early on are often normal stretching, but sharp lower pain, especially with spotting, needs a doctor to check soon. Please dont ignore strong pain, get it looked at.
I'm 16 weeks and keep feeling these side pains too, freaks me out a little. Doctor said it's round ligament stuff and normal for her. Did anyone else feel it more on one side?
I felt these little pulling pains on the sides early on and got so scared, but my doctor said it's the ligaments stretching as the uterus grows. It settled down for me. But sharp or one-sided pain that stays, please get checked.
That side or lower belly pulling in early pregnancy is pretty common, usually it's the ligaments and the uterus changing. Mild and comes and goes is normal. But strong, constant, or one sided severe pain is not something to sit on, call the gynac.
With my PCOS I had a few twinges on the sides and worried a lot. Doctor reassured me it was the stretching. I won't say what's causing yours though, so if it's more than mild or doesnt ease, please get it checked properly.
