Do periods stop after pregnancy?

Question

I just found out im pregnant, 5 weeks. My last period was a while back and now im wondering will i not get them at all till delivery? Sorry if its a silly doubt, this is my first time and im still figuring out how all this works.

Yes they stop during pregnancy and return after delivery, the gap varies a lot person to person. If it doesnt come back even months after stopping feeding, just mention it to ur gynac to be sure.

I felt so confused about this too. Throughout pregnancy I had no periods and after delivery it took a while to return. Body just needs time yaar.

If u are fully breastfeeding it can stay away for many months, sometimes till u start solids. I didnt get mine for almost 8 months with my daughter. Totally normal, doc said the feeding hormones delay it.

During pregnancy haan, periods totally stop. After delivery they come back but timing depends on feeding. Mine came back in like 3 months both times.

Im 5 months and havent got periods since I conceived, so yes they pause completely. Was wondering the same about after baby comes though.
