I'm finding it really hard to sleep comfortably now that my bump is growing. I'm thinking of buying a pregnancy pillow. Do pregnancy pillows actually work and are they worth the investment?
Actually, pregnancy pillows can be quite expensive, and since we have to plan for delivery charges and baby vaccinations, I saved money there. I just tucked an old, soft pillow under my belly and it did the exact same job for free.
Oh they are absolutely amazing! 🌟 I couldn't sleep a wink without my C-shaped pillow in the last few months. It felt like sleeping on a cloud, definitely worth buying! 😊
They do give good support, but if you have severe pelvic or back pain, please ask your doctor first. In my case, I had some pregnancy complications and my gynac suggested specific sleeping postures that required customized support, so getting her advice is best.
Honestly, they do help a lot, but my MIL was like, 'Why spend on this, just use 2-3 extra normal pillows!' I ended up using my normal pillows under my bump and between my knees and it worked perfectly fine ghar pe.
They are a lifesaver, especially during the third trimester when you can't sleep. Even after my C-section, I used it to support my back while breastfeeding in bed. It really helped reduce pressure on my stitches.
