I've noticed some spider veins appearing on my legs during pregnancy. I'm hoping they're temporary; do they usually go away on their own after delivery?
Honestly, I'm so sleep-deprived right now that I haven't even looked at my legs to check if my spider veins are still there! But they do fade, so don't lose sleep over it like I am.
I totally understand how you feel seeing these changes in your body, it can be hard. For me, they lightened up a lot after my baby was born, so hang in there.
In most cases, they shrink or disappear within a few months after giving birth. Just make sure you are not crossing your legs while sitting, as that makes blood flow worse.
Don't worry too much about them, they usually fade quite a bit after delivery. Just try not to stand for too long and keep your feet up whenever you rest.
When I first saw them on my legs, I felt so conscious and worried they would stay forever. But now, 3 months postpartum, they have almost faded away on their own.
I have some on my ankles too, but I'm currently too busy eating my favorite pani puri to care! They usually go away or fade after delivery, so just chill.
Our bodies go through so many changes to bring these precious babies to us. They might not disappear 100% but they do lighten up a lot, so please be gentle with yourself.
