Do we get periods during first month of pregnancy?

I think im pregnant, test came positive last week, but i still saw some light bleeding around my usual date which confused me. Is that even possible in pregnancy? Getting a bit worried, planning to ask my gynac soon.

You wont get a full period if pregnant. A little spotting can be normal but if you have actual bleeding with cramps, please dont wait, see your gynac to be safe. Better checked.

Nahi yaar, pregnancy mein proper period nahi aata. Haan thodi si spotting ho sakti hai shuru mein, woh normal hai. Par agar zyada bleeding ho to doc ko dikhao na.

Technically no, once you are pregnant proper periods stop. But some women get light spotting early on, which can be implantation bleeding. My doc said real period and pregnancy dont go together.

I had some light bleeding around the time my period was due and i thought i wasnt pregnant. It was actually spotting, not a period. Test was positive. So light spotting can confuse you, dont assume.
