Do you still get ovulation pains if you have conceived?
I usually feel that one sided twinge around ovulation every month. This cycle we were trying and im still getting that same kind of pain few days later, period not due yet. Got me wondering, does this pain still come if conception happened? confused honestly.
I drove myself mad googling this exact thing. Short answer no, u dont ovulate once pregnant, but the cramps confused me badly. As long as its mild try not to spiral like I did. If unsure a quick call to the doc settles the mind.
Once u conceive u dont ovulate again, so technically its not ovulation pain. But many women feel mild cramps in early pregnancy from implantation and the uterus stretching. My doc said light cramping early on is common. So u may feel something, just not ovulation as such.
Mild cramps early in pregnancy can happen, but if u get strong one sided pain, sharp cramps or any bleeding along with it, dont brush it off as ovulation pain, get it checked with ur gynac soon. Just to be safe.
You wont actually ovulate after conceiving. What u feel is usually implantation or stretching cramps, mild and short. Both my pregnancies I had some light pulling feeling early on. Nothing sharp though.
I was so confused by this too! I felt little twinges around the time my period was due and thought its ovulation, but turned out I was pregnant. Apparently early pregnancy cramps can feel similar. Same here, it threw me off.
