Had some spotting yesterday and im really worried. Im going to call my doctor today only. In the meantime i keep reading that complete bed rest helps in such cases. Did rest actually help anyone here who had bleeding? im scared.
When I had bleeding my doctor put me on bed rest and it did help in my case, but the most important thing was being under her watch. Bleeding always needs a gynac to assess, not self decided rest. Please call your doctor right away if you're bleeding.
Rest can be part of the advice for some bleeding cases, but it depends entirely on the cause. Only your doctor can tell after examining you. Any bleeding in pregnancy means call the gynac first, then follow their plan.
I've been through scary bleeding and I know how frightening it is. My doctor advised rest and monitoring, and it helped, but only she could decide what was right. Please dont wait, ring your gynac and let them guide you.
