ghar pe i keep bending to pick up things, do small chores, and now im second guessing if its harming the baby. im 5 months along. is normal bending ok or should i really stop? bit confused na.
Even I feel so scared to bend down in my second trimester, always worried if it will squeeze the baby! Does anyone else feel a slight pressure in the lower tummy when they bend?
Actually, bending down doesn't harm the baby at all, yaar. But as your bump grows, it can strain your back badly. Better to bend from your knees instead of your waist.
In early months it is completely fine, but in later months, please avoid sudden bending to prevent back pain and dizziness. Keep your posture straight and take help from family for household chores.
Squatting is fine, but bending down in 3rd trimester is a whole project! My big belly literally blocks me, so I just use my feet to pick up things now, haha!
Bending doesn't hurt the baby because they are safe inside the amniotic sac. But honestly, bending down can trigger nausea and acid reflux if you already have morning sickness. Try to squat down instead.
