My bedroom is on the first floor so i climb stairs many times a day. Im 6 weeks along and everyone at home keeps telling me to avoid stairs now. Is it really a problem or just an old wives tale?
For most women its okay, but if you have any complication like placenta issues or bleeding or your doctor has advised rest, then avoid it. Honestly just ask your gynac whats right for your case, every pregnancy is different.
Beta climbing stairs slowly and holding support is fine, our generation did everything. Just dont hurry or carry heavy things while going up. Safety me hold the railing always.
My saas kept stopping me from stairs but doctor said normal use is fine, no need to avoid totally. I just took it slow. Listen to elders for care but trust the doctor for the actual rule.
Normal stair climbing is fine in a healthy pregnancy, I did it daily both times. Just hold the railing, go slow, dont rush. Its bending and heavy lifting people should be more careful with.
