Im a big coffee person, 2-3 cups a day easily. We just started trying to conceive and my friend said cut down on caffeine. Is coffee really that bad while trying? do i need to fully stop or thoda is ok?
I used to panic thinking even one sip of coffee would stop me from conceiving! But honestly, having a small cup of light coffee daily is perfectly fine. Don't worry so much, just keep your total caffeine intake low.
I am in my second trimester and completely cut down coffee initially because I was so anxious about it! Now I occasionally have a light cold coffee. Did anyone else also struggle to give up their daily tea or coffee during the trying phase?
It doesn't stop conception, but limiting it is good for overall health anyway. We need to save up for regular scans and hospital delivery packages, so cutting down on expensive outside cafe coffee also saved us a lot of pocket money! Just make simple light coffee at home.
My doctor actually explained that high caffeine intake (more than 200mg per day) can slightly delay conception and increase miscarriage risks. So, limiting yourself to one small mug of coffee a day is completely safe. Just be mindful of chocolate and green tea caffeine too.
Haha, if coffee killed conception, half of the world's population wouldn't be here! Don't worry, your morning cup won't do any damage. Just don't chug 5 espresso shots a day and you are good to go!
Arre nahi bacha, coffee peene se aisa kuch nahi hota. Bas garmi ke din me zyada mat piyo, aur din me ek chota cup hi ruko. Thoda dhyan rakho, sab normal rahega.
My mother-in-law used to scold me whenever I touched coffee, saying it causes heat in the body. But my gynac said one mild cup is totally fine. So I compromised and had just one small cup of filter coffee in the morning!
Oh my god, I couldn't survive without my morning brew! While trying, I just switched to a single cup of light cold coffee with a nice cookie. It satisfies the craving perfectly without going over the caffeine limit.
