Caught a bad cold last two days, blocked nose and sneezing nonstop. Im 14 weeks and just worried whether the cold itself reaches the baby in any way. Is this something normal that everyone gets during pregnancy?
A mild cold is usually okay, but if you run a high fever or it lingers, please see your doctor. I always treated fever seriously in pregnancy. Better to get the right safe medicine than struggle on.
A common cold usually doesnt harm the baby, it just makes you feel miserable. Rest, fluids, steam and warm soups help. Dont take any random cold medicine though, check with gynac before anything.
Beta a normal cold wont hurt the baby, dont fret. Warm haldi milk, ginger tea, steam and rest used to set us right. But if you get high fever, dont try home remedies, go straight to the doctor.
