My saas keeps telling me to eat khajoor everyday, specially in the last months. Im in my 7th month now and honestly thoda confused if it really helps or just a ghar ka totka. Anyone been told the same?
Khajoor is very good for health, baby weight increases nicely too. Just eat them in moderation, like 2-3 pieces a day is more than enough in early months.
My tracking app had this article saying eating 6 dates daily from 36 weeks helps in cervical ripening. It's actually scientifically proven to shorten labor phase. Try adding them to smoothies!
I just delivered last month and trust me, eating dates really made my active labor thoda smoother. Start having them regularly once you enter your 9th month, but start slowly.
My mother-in-law gave me dates soaked in warm milk daily. But I still asked my doctor first if it's safe because of the high sugar content, and she said yes but in limit.
OMG I ate so many dates in my 9th month hoping for an easy labor, but my baby still took 18 hours to come out! They do give good energy though, which u will definitely need later for sleepless nights.
Yes, dates are amazing for energy and help in smooth labor too in last month. But watch out, if you have any cramping or pain, then immediately ask your gynac first.
I used to eat 4-5 dates every day with warm milk in my third trimester. Honestly, it helped me stay strong and recovered my strength so well post-delivery.
