Tested positive last week and ive been super constipated plus thoda one sided pain. Now im worried reading things online. I have my scan booked to rule out ectopic but till then im anxious. Did anyone here have constipation with an ectopic?
Constipation is super common and mostly nothing to fear, beta. But dont try to diagnose ectopic yourself from it. If you ever have strong pain or bleeding, go straight to the doctor without delay.
Please dont look for ectopic signs through constipation, that is not how it shows. Ectopic usually brings sharp one sided pain, bleeding or dizziness and it is an emergency. If you have any of those, go to the doctor right away, dont wait.
My doc said constipation is just a very common normal pregnancy thing from the hormones, not a marker of ectopic. The real warning signs for ectopic are severe one sided pain and bleeding. Those need immediate medical attention, so please call if you ever feel them.
