Does implantation bleeding occur in ectopic pregnancy?
I had some light spotting and my mind immediately went to the worst. Im trying to read up while I wait for my scan appointment. Honestly a bit anxious, wanted to understand how to tell the difference.

My gynac explained ectopic can cause irregular bleeding that women sometimes mistake for implantation, but it usually comes with one sided pain. The only way to know is a scan and beta hcg levels. If there is any doubt, an early ultrasound is a must.
Ectopic is serious and not something to figure out from symptoms alone. I went through scary one sided pain and bleeding and the doctor caught an issue early. If u have bleeding with sharp pain or dizziness, please go to the doctor at once.
