First pregnancy and honestly both of us are a bit nervous about this. We dont want to do anything that could harm the baby. Just wanted to understand from women who have been through it, does it really affect the pregnancy?
In my pregnancy the doctor advised against it for a while because of my situation. So it really depends on your individual case. If you have any spotting or have been told you're high risk, please clear it with your gynac first.
For most normal pregnancies it's totally fine yaar, don't stress too much about harming the baby. Just listen to your body and your doctor. If anything feels off, ask, otherwise relax.
My gynac said in a normal healthy pregnancy intercourse is generally safe and doesn't harm the baby. She did say to avoid it if there's bleeding, a low lying placenta or other risks. So for most it's fine, but your own doctor's advice for your case is what counts.
