We have been trying for more than a year and my gynac casually mentioned IUI as one option. I don't know anyone personally who did it, so it feels big and confusing. Can anyone share what made you decide for it?
Our doctor explained iui works well for certain situations like mild issues or unexplained infertility, success per cycle isnt huge so they often try a few rounds. Depends a lot on age and cause, so ur specialist is the right one to say if it suits u.
I totally understand the hope and nerves around this. Iui has helped so many, including people i know. It may need a couple of tries so hold on. Sending you so much strength on this journey.
Yes it can definitely help, lots of couples conceive through iui. Just take it one cycle at a time and be kind to urself in between. Trust ur fertility doctor's plan, okay.
We are also thinking about iui soon, so reading this. From what our doc said it gives a good chance for some couples. Praying it works for u, take care.
Yes iui does help many couples conceive, it places the sperm closer so chances improve. We started with iui before moving on. It can take a few cycles so dont lose heart, and let ur fertility doc guide the plan for ur case.
With my pcos the doctor combined iui with some treatment to help ovulation, and it did help eventually. It's not a guarantee in one go though, so go in with patience. Ur doctor will tailor it for u.
