Does leaking breasts during pregnancy mean good milk supply?
Im in my third trimester and noticed some leaking already which honestly surprised me. A friend said it means ill have good supply later. Is that actually true or no connection? curious to know.
I felt the same worry, I didnt leak at all and panicked thinking I wont have enough milk. Turned out I had loads once baby arrived. So please dont judge your supply by this, I stressed for nothing.
Not at all linked, please dont worry about it. I leaked a lot in pregnancy with my first and had average supply, and barely leaked with my second but had plenty of milk. Leaking is just your body prepping, it doesnt predict your supply.
Nope, leaking has nothing to do with how much milk you'll make later. Some women leak early, some never do, both feed perfectly fine. Supply mostly builds after baby comes and starts feeding, so dont stress over this now.
I totally get the worry, we read so much into every little sign. But honestly leaking is not a sign of supply. What helped me after delivery was frequent feeding and staying relaxed. Your body knows what to do, trust it.
