Iv had white discharge problem for a while and now we are trying to conceive. Bit worried if this will come in the way. Anyone else dealt with likoria during this time?
Beta, thoda white discharge is normal during pregnancy. My mother used to say keep clean and dry and drink enough water. But if it is too much, itchy or smells bad, please show your gynac, dont ignore it.
If it is heavy or causing discomfort please dont rely on home tips. An untreated infection can need attention in pregnancy. A quick gynac visit will tell you if it is normal or not.
My doctor explained that mild leucorrhoea is common in pregnancy due to hormones and usually harmless. But if there is a strong smell, colour change or itching it could be an infection that needs treatment. Better to get it checked so it doesnt affect anything.
