Does metformin affect pregnancy test results?

I'm currently taking Metformin for PCOS, and I'm trying to conceive. I wanted to know if taking Metformin can affect the results of a home pregnancy test. Could it give a false reading?

Nope, absolutely not. Metformin is for insulin/PCOS, it doesn't touch hCG which is what tests detect. Just use morning urine for exact result.

No actually, it doesn't affect. Kit only checks for hCG hormone which metformin has zero impact on.
