Does missed period mean pregnancy?

My period is 6 days late which never happens normally. We werent really trying but not careful either. Does missing it always mean pregnant ya could be something else? Im confused.

Having PCOS, my periods were always irregular, so a missed period didn't always mean pregnancy for me. Definitely take a home test first to be sure, and consult your doctor if it's negative but still delayed.
