Does olive oil prevent stretch marks during pregnancy?
Im in my 5th month and pet is starting to show properly now. My mom keeps telling me to massage with olive oil daily but my cousin used some fancy cream and still got marks. Does the oil actually work ya it just a myth? pls share what worked for u.
I used to massage olive oil day and night when I was pregnant. My baby is an active toddler now and looking back, those marks eventually fade and become super light anyway. It really helped with the belly itching though, so go for it.
Actually it helps with the stretching itch so much! 🌟 I used to mix olive oil with a bit of bio oil and massage it every night. Even if some marks still show, it’s a beautiful reminder of our journey. ❤️
Let's be real, stretch marks are mostly genetic and no oil can completely stop them. I used premium olive oil and expensive creams, but still got some on my lower belly. Use it to keep your skin hydrated, but don't expect miracles.
Honestly, with my PCOS history, I was super cautious and tried applying olive oil daily. It definitely kept my dry skin very soft and hydrated, but some minor marks still came. I think it depends on genetics too, so don't expect 100% prevention but it's definitely great for moisturizing.
I'm currently using olive oil and it keeps my skin super hydrated. Along with that, my gynac allowed light walking and gentle pregnancy yoga which really helps with blood circulation. Staying hydrated inside out is the real key!
