Bit of an awkward one to ask but here goes. Me and my husband are unsure if intimacy is safe right now, im in my second trimester. I worry it might harm the baby in some way. Anyone comfortable sharing?
Dont stress too much about this yaar, it's totally normal and safe if your pregnancy is uncomplicated. The little cramps after are completely fine. If you've had any issues just clear it with your gynac, otherwise relax.
I asked my gynac this because I was nervous, and she said in a normal low risk pregnancy it's completely safe and harmless. You might feel some mild cramping or tightening after, which is normal. But if you have a high risk pregnancy or bleeding history, she said to check with the doctor first.
In a healthy pregnancy it doesnt harm the baby at all. The baby is well protected and the mild contractions you feel afterwards are nothing to worry about. If your doctor has flagged any risk though, then ask them specifically.
