My scan report said placenta is little low and the doc told me not to worry too much, it can move up later. But honestly I keep thinking about it. Does it actually shift on its own as baby grows? pls share if it happened to you.
Yes, my doctor explained the placenta often appears low early on but moves up as the uterus grows, which is totally normal. Mine was low at the 20 week scan and had shifted up by the later scan. She said its common so not to panic, they just keep watching it.
My anomaly scan said low lying placenta and I got so worried. The doctor said it usually moves up later. Did anyone else have this and did it move up for you?
Yes it commonly moves up as pregnancy goes on, mine was low first time and corrected itself. They just recheck it at a later scan to be sure. Dont stress unless your gynac specifically tells you to take care.
